Tarzan

The Tarzan novels follow the extraordinary life of a boy raised by apes in the African jungle. Known as Tarzan, he grows into a resourceful hunter and adventurer, then encounters the wider world beyond the forest. Across the series, he faces lost civilizations, dangerous rivals, wild animals, and shifting alliances while trying to reconcile his jungle upbringing with his human heritage. Edgar Rice Burroughs combines fast-paced action, romance, and imaginative settings in stories that move from the African wilderness to cities and distant lands. Each book offers a new adventure, while Tarzan’s courage, independence, and fierce loyalty connect the series from one tale to the next.
