S. Fowler Wright (1874–1965) was a British novelist, poet, editor, and accountant. Initially self-published in 1927, Deluge became an international success and established Wright as a full-time writer. He went on to produce science fiction, mysteries, historical novels, poetry, and nonfiction across a remarkably varied career.
